Well what a week, I have been working in Geraldton for 3 days, that’s a 5 hour drive there and 5 hours back. I came across a beautiful new home with some fine rock pillars of which I took some photos and end then promptly kicked myself for not taking my camera and having to use the iPhone camera which I don’t think would do it justice, I also took some photos of a building I feel very sorry for. It is situated on the waterfront as most off Geraldton is, it is a neglected building which I assume may have been a Hotel and has been bordered up for as long as I have been going to over the last 4 years (ass u me)
|Does not do it justice!!!|
|Just loving those rock pillars!!|
It reminds me of Beeny’s renovation series that was on the Lifestyle channel, Beeny and her husband have renovated a country manner, the series had me in tears literally, with their constant challenges with the council.
Sarah Beeny’s family home is available on an exclusive self-catering basis for weddings and events.
So back to building: Our second home we built here in Perth, we had arrived, after 1 month we started looking at land to build a home. We met and are still friends with John and Yvonne who and still do live in Leeming, we told them that we had bought land in Joondalup, ‘what are you mad they said that is too far away’ (how times have changed now that the freeway has been extended, and extended again) but they were right we have since visited the block and it is bloody awful, not only that they are infested with mozzies as the block was close to a lake.
So after talking to our very nice agent he agreed with us and that’s how we ended up in Willetton
This build I don’t remember being a nightmare, however a few days after we shifted in we were painting the master bedroom. a hideous pink, I remember it well and then later I realised why I had chosen that colour. Turns out I was Pregnant (clearly not thinking straight) with Brittany xxxxxx
Do you remember what you were doing when you found out you were pregnant?
