What a beautiful day we are having, just got home after visiting the hot rod show in Fremantle. We then had a drink or two at Clancey’s fish pub; had a great chat to the barman. Who by the way did the right thing and asked to see Sam’s ID. A bonus we got two swizzle sticks which I got to bring home, hence the photo, they are sitting in Cider
Now home, we have to find the energy to prepare the salad and fire up the BBQ, today I have already cleaned the upstairs balcony sliding doors so we can now see outside. With spring upon us we have started sitting up there again, we just have to finish the balcony tiling. I daren’t push it as Michael has started the portico tiling. (slow and steady) Which has the potential to look stunning

A little bit more of our Marg’s trip.
We came across an advertisement for a gallery that looked like they had some amazing paintings, this gallery is next door to what used to be Lamont’s Winery, they have shifted further down to Yallingup.
Anyway I fell in love with a painting that cost the princely sum of $2000.00, they all thought I was mad, what do you think?
I am hoping that one day Brittany can replicate this for me xx
Well onwards to lunch at Wills Domain our last three course meal, I just don’t know where we put it all.
Great setting, fabulous food, good service, oops I forgot to take any photos
Anyway Wills Domain so we were told was bought for the owner’s son as a hobby, the son is wheel chair bound, who apparently planted all the vines himself. the wine was a bit off alright. The food as I said was great, anyway this is where we confirmed our new nicknames, sitting in front of the open fire with a bottle or wine.
