As I spend the majority of the time in the car in my working week, I listen to 720. I learn a lot and sometimes appear well informed. (very deceiving)
I get a lot out of Gillo’s book shelf segment, faithfully writing down when stopped at the lights her reviews of books to look up on the iPad, and store the samples
The last book I painfully read and I mean painfully was Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. They raved about how fabulous the writing style was, it was an award winning book.
Don’t care what they say I won’t be beaten, it took me months to read and then you get a taste at the end of the contents of the 2nd book in the saga that has just been released.
Sorry Gillo, can’t be on the same page with you on this one, I just can’t
So I am now torn on whether to read Lily Brett’s Lola Bensky or Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. I need a laugh so maybe the second one
LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS
A lot to say today I know but I am very excited about our lights, after a 6 month wait, a 6 month search. 12 MONTHS LATER !!! TA DAAAAAA they are up
|Solid as, I am picking someone might nick the bulbs|
|I have plans for across the wall between the windows,
so I didn’t position the lights any higher than they were originally set out for
|Because if my plan works and they were higher you wouldn’t see these stunning lights|
|Bragging rights, the newest lights in the street|
|For once they weren’t expensive, thanks Brass Decor in Nedlands.|
|The balcony down light bulbs need to be changed, I didn’t specify what wattage.
They are so bright you feel like you are being interogated
Happy day’s to follow, rain for the rest of the week. Good, will help establish the garden, lots of new growth happening
