Well after one week or rather one official session I will now need to take a two break break. Part of the get out of jail scheme at Fernwood.
I did the right thing, my 5 minutes warm up on the cross trainer, followed by 30 odd minutes on the resistant weight machines, followed by 30 or so minutes on the cross trainer. The aim being to get my heart rate up to at least 100, increasing eventually to 120. This is considered, the best heart rate for weight loss.
So I am dreaming about how fabulous and easy this is working out to be, and yes indeedy I slept great that night after the work out, so one problem solved. The next day I was feeling a bit shattered but my body was holding up great, proud of myself.
However Friday comes and guess who has difficulty walking due to, I guess pulled muscles in my lower right back. Deflated, drugged up, dragging my self around for the day, got home that afternoon and went straight to bed.
But I will not be beaten, will take the obligatory two weeks get out of jail card and hopefully bounce back.
Saturday I was a little worse for wear, Sunday a bit better, found some stronger stuff from the doctors that I had stashed away for just such an emergency as this, and thankfully they haven’t expired.
Had a great night planned on Saturday for dancing, we had tickets to the band Rush Hour who were playing at the Navy Club in Fremantle. We still went and I boogied sitting down, Heather and I sang our hearts out, much to the amusement of the doorman. There was a crowd of about 15, which was disappointing for the band, but we had fun
Now I have a new dilemma, I want to add photos of the night but in respecting others privacy, pondering how to do it. So after going to the bathroom and seeing these very old tiles I thought I would have to take photos of the very quaint bathroom. The little vases of fake flowers were a quaint touch, really showing the era of the building, I loved it
Look what a girls gotta do
I would love to know how old these tiles are, the surface of the tiles wasn’t rough, not a great photo though
My tickets, very clever reflection don’t you think, taken on my kitchen bench
We also had a great meal in Fremantle before hand, I had chill muscles, and of course forgot to take a photo. We went to Gino’s received great service, Michael had lasagne Pete and Heather shared Garlic Prawns, Bruchetta and wedges
Any way a great night out with great friends Pete & Heather. DTB & LOL were to join us but they went to the open day i the city and spent 5 hours touring Perth buildings, got home at 5pm, promptly fell asleep and rang when they woke at 8pm. They are usually such party animals; they won’t live this one down.
Check out the band, they play all over Perth
