Week three of #Listmania, thanks to Deb from Home Life Simplified
This week we are talking about crushes – those we had growing up and those we might be harboring these days (any overlaps for anyone?).
Oh this is a hard one:
Jack Wilde from H.R.Pufinstuf
|Jack as The Artful Dodger.
I was very young, I doubt that any of you would have seen him. It was a show which involved some over sized characters, helped by Jack Wild (who’s character was called Jimmy) to escape the evil witch, Witchy poo. Witchy poo was determined to steal Jimmy’s magical flute that was called Freddy the flute. Scared the hell out of me. I can still hear the show’s tune. Jack was also a supporting actor in the movie Oliver, playing the Artful Dodger character, which he won a Best Supporting Actor for in 1968 at the age of 16. He died aged 53 from Oral cancer. I loved his British accent xx
David Cassidy from The partridge Family
This was a 70’s TV show about a widowed mother with 5 children, who embark on a music career travelling around on a bus. How could you resist a good looking boy who sang the song ‘I think I love you’.
|The Hair, he always wore tight pants that were flared, so cool !!!!
I would like to think I have seen every movie this man made. I adored his blonde hair, his voice, his chiseled looks, his smoochy look, his blue eyes, the list goes on and on.
|The Way we Were with the beautiful Barbara Streisand
|What a hunk
In the movie The Way We Were, his name was Hubble, how cool was that. Some of his more famous movies were:
- Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid with Paul Newman 1969
- The Sting 1973
- The Way We Were 1973
He helped start the Sundance Film Festival.
Well it’s been a bit of a week, hence why I am late with this post. I looked at all of yours for inspiration and found many many that I adore in particular.
Top of the list has to go to Keaneau Reeves:
I watched the movie Speed, over and over again. Think I could recite it.
I forgot about:
George Clooney (how could I)
My other favourite, and I think I have seen all of his movies is:
Thanks for the memories and inspiration girls
